Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information RxVP collects through rxvp.org and when you contact us, why we use it and the choices you have. Questions about this policy can be sent to bonnie@rxvp.org.

Who we are

RxVP is a life sciences speakers bureau that runs live virtual panels with senior industry leaders. RxVP is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

  • Information you send us. When you email us, for example to request a speaker invitation, enquire about sponsorship, nominate a podcast guest or pitch an Insights article, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to include, such as your organisation, role, location and LinkedIn profile.
  • Speaker and leadership profiles. For speakers, Advisory Board, Steering Committee and team members, we publish names, photos, roles, organisations, countries and biographies that the person has agreed to share.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Cookies and analytics

rxvp.org does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and manage speaker invitations, sponsorships and programmes
  • To publish approved speaker and leadership profiles
  • To run, secure and improve the website

We use your information on the basis of our legitimate interest in running RxVP and responding to you, to take steps towards an agreement you have asked about, or with your consent. We do not sell personal information.

Third-party services

Pages on rxvp.org load fonts from Google Fonts, some images and logos from Wikimedia Commons and Google, and map data from jsDelivr. These providers receive your IP address when your browser requests the files. Share buttons open LinkedIn, whose own privacy policy applies once you are on LinkedIn.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting relationship, and published profiles for as long as the person is part of RxVP or until they ask us to remove them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, to data portability and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email bonnie@rxvp.org. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

RxVP works with people around the world, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
